8th Annual Charity 8-Ball Tournament
Over 150 of Mississauga’s finest pool players were on hand for the 8th Annual Charity 8-Ball Tournament in Port Credit. At least $10,000 was hoped to be raised, which will be used for the Walls of Hope family make-over. Founded in 2005, the Walls of Hope has already helped the lives of 10 families and, with the funds from the 8th Annual Charity 8-Ball Tournament, one more family in need will be helped. More than 30 teams of 5 players participated in the tournament. Each player received free pool, free food, a free sweatshirt and a coupon book. There was also a $20 per ticket draw for exciting prizes such as 10 cases of beer, Leaf and Raptors tickets, a signed NHL Alumni jersey and more. The event took place on the second floor of the Crooked Cue in Port Credit and the enthusiasm was overwhelming! The Charity 8-Ball Tournament happens every year and is an exciting way for pool players from Mississauga to get together for a great cause. Let’s raise a cheer for everyone at the 8th Annual Charity 8-Ball Tournament!
