There were interesting boutiques, outstanding cuisine and, midway through the afternoon, a series of spectacular live performances that were put on by some local performers. Near the conclusion of the event, Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion took to the stage and made some brief remarks to the audience. Various gift items and coupons were distributed on site and those who attended also had the chance to enter a contest to win a 12-day trip for two to Hong Kong and China.
