Chili Cook-Off for Heart and Stroke Foundation
The residents and staff at Chartwell Classic Robert Speck Retirement Residence brought on the heat recently at their first ever Chili Cook-Off. The fundraising event on February 18th welcomed residents and members of the community to submit their own classic chili recipes for the crowd to taste-test. With chili submissions including Texas style, vegetarian and hot, no two chili recipes were the same! Along with enjoying some delicious chili, guests also took part in a silent auction with all proceeds going towards the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
