Port Credit's 175 Free Public Skate
The weather may have been warming up outside but hundreds bundled up for one more ice skate recently to close off the season. Mississauga residents joined members of the Port Credit 175th Anniversary committee at Port Credit Memorial Arena to skate for free! Many families not only enjoyed the public skate, but also enjoyed some snacks and hot dogs throughout the afternoon. Those interested in volunteering with the committee got the opportunity to chat with committee members and sign up to help. There were also some special souvenirs being sold throughout the event, and committee members were welcoming everyone's opinion in a Port Credit Time Capsule Suggestion Box!
