Learning a little more about each other at the social wellness station are Beata, Amy and Monica
Recreation Therapy Showcase
One’s health does not strictly consist of the physical and Specialty Care Mississauga wanted to make sure everyone knew about it as they presented a recreational wellness week. Those who entered the event received a passport that they would then take to every station, be educated and then receive a sticker. Once all the stickers had been collected on a passport, it was handed in to be entered into a draw. Each station consisted of a different wellness, not only vital for the residents to be active in, but also for all at home as well. The stations were social, physical, spiritual, intellectual and emotional. Sophie, one of St. John Ambulance's therapy dogs, was even at the event to remind people how important animals can be in our lives.
