Curves Evening to Support the Heart and Stroke Foundation
It was a girls' night out to remember on February 10th as members of Curves of Erin Mills-Mississauga met for a Girls Get Together for existing members. About 20 members and guests gathered for an evening of fun, laughter and, of course, a series of light workouts. To start off the night, there was a special presentation by guest speaker, Susan Longley from Susan’s Fine Lingerie, on the importance of wearing sports bras while working out. Also at the event was the store manager from Northern Reflections Erin Mills Centre who was on hand to show the latest in ladies' fashions. Food was generously provided by Subway Sandwiches and, midway through the event, there were a number of salsa dancers who provided some fun entertainment. The Curves Girls Get Together was a first annual event and will be sure to return once again next year. In the meantime, all throughout the month of February, registration fees at Curves Erin Mills were waived and, instead, new members were asked for a donation benefiting the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Let’s give it up for Curves Erin Mills and its fundraising initiative, and for all those ladies at the first annual Girls Get Together!
