Barbara took Shyanne out for March Break and had an exciting time

Exotic Animal Petting Zoo

South Common Mall was taken over by furry four-legged animals during March Break as the Mane Attraction from Fergus, Ontario, brought a petting zoo to the Mall for all the kids to enjoy. There were three separate sections to the petting zoo which gave spectators an opportunity to watch, learn and feed their favourite animals. On display were a mini zebu cow, a coatimundi, a pot-bellied pig and a ringtail lemur. By far the most popular part of the event was being able to pet and feed the animals. Children were given the opportunity to feed the pets with food pellets served out of ice cream cones and, judging by the smiles on the kids faces, they loved it. The petting zoo at South Common Mall happens each year during March Break and is a week long event that gives children an exciting and interactive way to spend the break. An interesting and fun visit for the kids and, we're sure, much enjoyed by the animals too!
