2008 October > 11 Division's Police Community Liason committee's Open House
On September 13, The Peel Regional Police opened their doors at their 11 Division Station to allow members of the Public to come and find out more about the the Peel Regional Police Operate. The event was held in the parking lot and guests were able to view many different units of the Peel Regional Police, including the Tactical Rescue Unit and Explosive Disposal Unit. The event was held to raise fund's for the Peel Children's Safety Village, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Peel, as well as Junior Achievement. Some of the events being held at the open house included a BBQ, face painting and jail photo tours. The OPP was also on hand at the event to show off their police vehicles, which kids were allowed to sit in and explore.
