2008 October > Mississauga Humane Society WALK-A-THON The Mississauga Humane Society Walk-a-Thon was held on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Families and friends brought along their pets for a day in the park. Everyone was there to support the Humane Society. The Walk-a-Thon is the biggest annual fundraiser for the society. There was a huge turn out and everyone was having a great time. There was a barbecue, a raffle, a veterinarian, dogs for adoption, animal toys and treats and an animal communicator. Some people adopted dogs and everyone helped the charity to save more homeless animals. There were many cute dogs playing around the park. Families and friends were mingling with others and playing with all the animals. It was a really great afternoon to come together and support the Mississauga Humane Society and help animals in need.
