EpiPen/AAIA Take Action Against Reaction 5km Walk for Anaphylaxis, Allergy & Asthma
One third of Canadians suffer from allergic diseases and asthma, and on May 29th, over 200 families came together to raise awareness for those who suffer from that daily. EpiPen/AAIA Take Action Against Reaction 5km Walk for Anaphylaxis, Allergy & Asthma was held at Erindale Park for the first time in Mississauga. Families and friends joined together to take part in either a 5km walk or run to raise awareness for allergic diseases and asthma. Mississauga City Councilor, Ron Starr, and Mississauga-Erindale MP, Bob Dechert, stopped by to share a few encouraging words for the runners. Before everyone hit the start line, Jason, the mascot of our Toronto Argonauts, lead everyone in a 10-minute warm-up exercise. Mississauga also welcomed Toronto Argonaut - Offensive Lineman #59, Joe Epple.
